BEULAH CLASSIC SPEY FLY ROD: 11'6" 6/7 WT 4-PIECE FREE SHIPPING
This 11'6" 6/7 Spey rod is the lightest offering in Beulah's Classic Spey series. Don't let the length fool you, this is not a Switch rod (maybe an extension of one) and our 11'6" has plenty of power down low and is one those rods in the industry that took many dedicated two-hand fisherman away from 14', 15' and 16' Spey rods. This rod is a terrific choice for a go anywhere summer Steelhead rod, Alaskan trout Spey for swinging streamers to large Rainbow and crosses over terrifically for chugging "Wogs" for hulky shouldered Silver Salmon. This rod is a progressive taper and fishes best with Scandinavian and Skagit type two-hand lines. A blast working runs from your first three foot/tip line dump to casting 80' of line with authority as you ease into the heart of the run.
USE OF ROD: Summer Steelhead, big Rainbows and Browns, Silver Salmon.
ACTION: Progressive Taper, Fast Action/Fast Recovery
FLY LINE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Scandinavian: Beulah Elixir 380 Spey grain/length matched for our 11'6" 6/7, Vision Ace Floating Shooting Head custom cut between 380-420 depending on fishing preference, Rio AFS 400
Skagit: Beulah Tonic 410 Spey grain/length matched for our 11'6' 6/7, Airflo Compact Skagit 420, S.A. Spey Skagit Deluxe 400, Rio Skagit 350 or 400
Note: If your tip of choice is 10 or more feet of Rio T14 and large tough to cast flies, bump up your line choice to appropriately handle the big stuff!
CLASSIC SPEY SERIES 11'6" 6/7wt. 4 PIECE Comes with sock, tube, lifetime warranty for original owner (see warranty for conditions)
WHY CHOOSE BEULAH FLY RODS?
The Fly Fishing Place is proud to offer the complete line of Beulah Fly Rods, from the traditional one-handed Guide Series to the innovative Switch, Spey and Blue Water Series and the new Surf casting series.
Beulah rods are designed by professional guides on the West Coast. Their wealth of experience and dedication to creating real life casting solutions ensures Beulah rods are truly World Class.
Unlike almost every rod manufacturer today, Beulah has built a "no-fluff" line of distinctly tailored rods specific to serious anglers needs. They don't bring out a whole new line of "next generation must-have" fly rods every year. Each rod is designed to be the classic working tool for the discriminating anglers needs for years to come.
Beulah is committed to providing high quality products at realistic prices. Beulah's rods are cosmetically perfect and offer features normally found on rods at twice the price. Spare tips and a no hassle lifetime warranty are standard on Guide Series and Blue Water Series Beulah rods.
Blanks: Beulah blanks start with the industry's best 52 million modulus high-strain graphite. Beulah spent the extra time and money here at the heart of the casting tool to develop a series of fly rod blanks that have great hoop strength, fast smooth recovery, and perfect flex patterns throughout the four rod series.
Grips and Reel Seats: The quality of Beulah's Portugese cork grips is unbelievable. Every grip is built on the blank ring by ring to insure quality and longevity. The reel seats are equally fine and are specifically matched to each rod series for form and function. Nickel and hardwood reel seats grace the Guide Series, while the Switch, Blue water and Spey rods all come with saltwater proof anodized aluminum.
Guides: Buelah applies the highest quality Aconite-Insert stripping guides to all of their rods. Each guide set on each rod model is engineered, sized and spaced to enhance the performance of each rod.
Wrappings and Finish: In a word: Beautiful.
Beulah goes the The Extra Mile: All Beulah Guide series and Blue Water series rods come with a partitioned rod sock to protect your rod in transit, a protective Cordura covered tube and a spare tip section. What good does a warranty do when you break a rod tip on the fly fishing trip of a lifetime? With Beulah, you are covered: Just take out your extra tip and get back on the river.
