ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Tom Rosenbauer has been with the Orvis Company for twenty-seven years, and while there, has been a fishing school instructor, copywriter, public relations director, merchandise manager, and editor of The Orvis News for ten years. Rosenbauer has been a fly fisher for over thirty-five years, and was a commercial fly tyer by age fourteen. He has ten fly-fishing books in print, including The Orvis® Fly Fishing Guide, Revised and Updated, which won a 2001 National Outdoor Book Award. He has also been published in Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, Catalog Age, Fly Fisherman, Sporting Classics, Fly Rod and Reel, Audubon, and others, including The Orvis Guide to Reading Trout Streams. He lives in southern Vermont on the banks of his favorite trout stream
