DRY FLY: ADAMS PARACHUTE, HI-VIZ (3 FLIES)
The Adams dry fly is one of the most widely used trout flies in the world, and for good reason. This variation is tied in the parachute dry fly style with a fluorescent wing. We tie our parachute Adams with a really nice hot pink wing that shows up well even at twilight right when the trout start rising! Although it rides naturally low in the water, it is still easy to see in low-light conditions. It is an excellent general imitation of adult mayfly duns or fluttering caddis adults, and is just plain buggy looking. A dozen or two Adams in sizes 10 through 20 is the basis of a well-stocked fly box!
