FLY TYING MATERIALS: SCHLAPPEN SPEY FLY HACKLE
Beautifully dyed 6-8" long schlappen feathers are the best we could fins! Really nice for tying uniformly beautiful spey flies. Great for saltwater flies and bass bugs, too! 1/4 ounce packet.
FLY TYING TIP: Strip the barbules off one side of the spey hackle and wind it carefully forward using a bit of saliva while stroking the hackle backwards to control and place the hackles.
