It is an excellent ribbing wire for nymph bodies to add strength and subtle lifelike flash. ABOUT ULTRA WIRE SIZES: "Brassie" size is perfect for Copper John nymph hook sizes 18-22. For sizes 16 and up, and for stonefly and streamer ribbing, go to "Medium". "Small" size ultra wire is perfect for ribbing Gold Ribbed Hare's Ears, Zug Bugs, etc. "X-small" ultra wire is for tying tiny Zebra Midges, for adding flash to small patterns, and for building dubbing brushes.
