STEELHEAD FLY: MACK'S CANYON
Also known as Max Canyon. Originated by Doug Stewart in the 1970's and named for the Mack's Canyon stretch of the Deschutes River. The legend is that the name was changed to Max Canyon so no one would go fish near Mack's Canyon. Excellent fall and winter steelhead fly.
