Unlike any other tube fly vise adaptor on the market, the Tubeology vise attachment allows tying of Tubeology tube flies without slippage. The vise adapter fits all of the Tubeology Tubes from 14mm to 50mm. Fits in the jaws of any standard conventional fly tying vise.
If you have tied tube flies, you know that once you turn to metal tubes ,with or without lining, you run into all kinds of trouble. Normally bare tubes are very unforgiving when it comes to slippage during the tying process. Quite often the only way to hold a metal tube still is by sheer force. However, the Tubeology system is designed with its collar at the front stopping your thread from slipping off the head and allowing you to easily angle your wings. The Tubeology Tube Vice Clamp allows you to add on the hook retainer (junction tube) to help you tie the correct length hairwing and materials for your fly.
